Class Description: Commercials are a great way to break into the industry, offer valuable learning experiences on set, and provide great income for working actors. And yet, we rarely value them on “the same level” as a theatrical booking -- which could actually influence the reason we don’t book them. 

In each class we explore a different type of commercial: scripted, mos (non-speaking), and direct-to-camera. We break down instructions, scripts, and storyboards to create a fully-fleshed out story with few (or no) words in 30  seconds or less with a beginning, middle, and end, while showcasing your unique personality and highlighting the product.

This class will show you how to approach your commercial audition as the screen artist you are, using the same level of creativity, craft, and technique as you would in a theatrical audition.
