What approach dare an actor take when audition sides include throwing a person to the ground, running through a forest, a punch, a slap, or a hold up? How does an actor tape bold action in a 3’x3’ taping space? Do they incorporate a scripted kiss when there is no scene partner? How can they effectively drive a get-away car in a self-taping room with a virtual reader?
Together we will tackle TRAPS & TRICKY CONTENT inside the audition room. Discover options to taping scenes that require on-the-go movement, scripted intimacy, and/or unique physical demands.
This 3-hour intensive is led by special guest Katie Killacky in collaboration with aws teaching artists and is for actors, self-taping coaches, directors, and multi-hyphenates of all levels.
